A few of my favorite things...

...beauty things that is! I wanted to share a few products that I love and think you will too!


First up is this amazing mint glaze lip treatment by Cover FX. This stuff is so hydrating and perfectly minty, and a great product in these cold winter months. It's a little pricey at $22 for a fairly small tube, but worth the splurge!

Another favorite product of mine is bareMinerals foundation. I have been using this stuff for about 7 years now, and have no desire to go back to liquid foundation! It is easy to apply, you can layer it for more coverage, and bonus, it has spf15 in it! If you haven't tried it before, definitely give it a go!

Last but not least on the list of favorites today is Aveda's light elements smoothing serum. A few drops of this in your hair makes for a silky smooth finish after styling. It doesn't make your hair greasy, just adds a nice shine and helps eliminate frizz. Plus it lasts forever making it worth the price tag!

Well I had the best of intentions to start blogging, but as you can see, failed miserably. I read many blogs, but alas, neglected my own. However, with the start of a new year comes a chance to start again! So on this last day of 2011, I will leave you with a few quotes that have recently inspired me:

Blogging Love

So I am new to this whole blogging world! After spending time stalking other people's blogs and truly enjoying reading the thoughts, ideas, and real life stories of others, I thought I would finally give it a try myself! I think it will be a fun, creative outlet, a sort of "life journal" if you will. I'm not even sure yet what the theme of the blog will be other than to go with the theme of my blog name: My first name is Jaime, which as my mother told me when I was little and I asked why she named me that, is "I love" in French (J'aime). So I hope to share the things I love in this blog, from my sweet husband, to my new puppy, my dear family and friends, my job as a teacher, to the more simple "loves" in life like a great new outfit, a delicious meal, or a day at the ocean. I hope you enjoy reading and look forward to sharing our "loves" together! <3
